WINN REA’s environmental, process-based art includes wall sculpture, works on paper, and video installations that investigate our relationship to nature. She has exhibited nationally and internationally from Gongju and Seoul, South Korea, to the A.I.R. and Phoenix Galleries in New York, and The Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Most recently her installations were featured in The Value of Water at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine (New York City) and Earth Matters at the Heckscher Museum, (Huntington, New York.) Her work has received support from The New York Foundation for the Arts, The Puffin Foundation, and the Vermont Studio Art Center and been reviewed in the New York Times. She is Assistant Professor of Art at the Long Island University Post. Her studio is in Long Island City, New York.
